The purpose of this site is to give you knowledge about me, Dave Miller. This is NOT an ego trip! I spent many hours debating whether I should do this site or not. Being we are in the digital era that we are in, and the fact that so much of what I do for a "living" is digital, it made sense to me to create this site. This information is for future employers, or those that wish to contract my full or part time services for websites and/or photographic services and those that may just be curious about my career.
Overall I consider myself as a "jack of all trades" and "master of none"... More aptly put, I have lots of experience in a lot of areas. This allows me to adapt to the needs of a particular project, job or organization. My hope is that site will let the viewer get a better idea of who I am. And how I can be the assest you need for your project! Dave

This is what I do currently for my full time income generation. I currently run a small photo studio in Buffalo, NY. My main area of work, the stuff that pays the bills photographically, is the entertainment work and event work. I do work for a major entertainment organization providing photography services for their varied needs from concerts to general parties. I also do alot of work with actors and models, providing portfolios. 
My work as a digital publisher goes beyond the web. Originally as computers became more a part of the workforce I had opportunities to work as a desktop publisher. I have experience in a variety of areas from selling to actually creating graphic arts. At one time I worked for a photo lab that provided publishing services such as brochures, type setting and air brushing. This natural progression went into actually working for a organization as a desktop publisher. And the final progression obviously was to the web. In my last position, I also managed and supervised a small printshop. 
I have always been a person that was well organized. It was natural for me to develop my organizational skills for my daytime work of publishing reports on a quarterly basis. Managing large amounts of data, and producing reports on a very tight time frames. Over the years my skills have be refined. I once thought of myself as a computer expert, but I have come to realize that I am a project manager that understands how to use computers to get projects done.
